What a gem of a spot! I visited last weekend, and I was thoroughly impressed by the warm, rustic decor that makes you feel right at home. The pub has a fantastic selection of beers, with many local options, which is a huge plus for me as a craft beer enthusiast. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was delicious—lightly battered and perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous, and the tartar sauce complemented it beautifully. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow at first, but the staff was apologetic and friendly throughout. Once the food came, my frustrations melted away. Definitely a place I’ll return to, especially for their live music nights. Can’t wait to try more from the menu!
